Historical and Geological Background: Brewsterite, named after Scottish physicist Sir David Brewster, is a rare zeolite mineral primarily found in areas rich in volcanic activity. It forms in cavities within basaltic rocks and is commonly associated with other zeolites. Notable deposits have been found in Scotland, as well as in Canada, the United States, and parts of Europe. Due to its rarity and delicate structure, brewsterite is mainly collected by mineral enthusiasts rather than being used in jewellery.
